We had a great day out at the Welcome Hotel, Stratford Upon Avon, last week. The Live 24 magazine are launching their new wedding section in September and we were asked, by the ‘Live team” if they could feature our wedding cakes in their first wedding issue.

 

Set in an opulent country mansion on 150 landscaped acres, this luxury hotel is 1.8 miles from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and 5.9 miles from Charlecote Park. This resplendent hotel was a perfect wedding venue for the photo shoot and an absolute perfect venue for any wedding reception.

Our Graffiti Wedding cakes are always wonderful and exciting for us to create. These wedding cakes are really fantastic to design as they allow are client to personalise and include art work special to themselves. Our latest Graffiti Wedding Cake design, incorporated art work based on Bristol’s tourist and urban areas, as well as, art worked based on their favourite artist Banksy.

 

The wedding cake looked absolutely perfect in the reception room at The Watershed art centre. Watershed opened in June 1982 as the United Kingdom’s first dedicated media centre. Based in former warehouses on the harbourside at Bristol, it hosts three cinemas, a café/bar, events/conferencing spaces.

Measure and Roll Non Stick Icing Mat

One of the things we really enjoy here at Sugarbliss Cake Decorating Company is showing and teaching the various different techniques, used to ice wedding cakes and celebrations cakes, here at our cake decorating shop.

 

So, it was a great pleasure to be invited to Lapworth W.I meeting to give a talk and demonstration about our cake decorations,cake decorating and cupcake supplies. During our demonstration we showed Lapworth W.I group, various modelling skills to create a fabulous Christmas cake. Afterwards our ladies were very eager to make their very own Christmas teddy bear sugar models!

143311-PWe always love new products and ideas and recently arrived in our cake decorating shop are the new range of pastel, primary and polka dot sugar bows. The bows really can add a special finish to a celebration cake or complete a gift box cake design.

 

Our selection of sugar colour bows are ideal cake toppers for birthday cakes, Christmas cakes and celebration cakes.

 

Each bow measures approx 150mm x 50mm. Remove the bow from the cake before serving. Our Sugar Flower Bows are available in various colours and designs from dots, pastel colours and primary colours to Christmas bows.

The Clikstix range of cutters have the added benefit of an ejector, simply place on your sugarpaste or petal paste, press and cut then eject. The range includes alphabet and number sets ideal for creating writing on celebration cakes and available in different fonts and sizes. It also includes bow cutters circle cutters leaf cutters butterflies and heart cutters perfect for wedding cakes and anniversary cakes.

This resplendent wedding venue is ideal for smaller wedding receptions catering up to 120 guests. The venue really suited our miniature half height wedding cake designs. The Bride and groom choose a beautiful sugarflower wedding cake which looked stunning in this grade 2 listed venue.

 

To create the peony sugarflowers we used the new Fmm peony cutters and the Fmm rose petal cutter set.

 

Another stunning wedding venue we have recently delivered one of our simple wedding cake designs is the wonderful Hampton Manor, Solihull. This venue again is ideal for smaller wedding parties and is set in 30 acres of beautiful gardens and fields.

Crystal Globe Wedding Cake

crystal-globe-wedding-cakeOur new Crystal Globe Wedding Cake was a massive talking point for the wedding guests at the stunning CSN conference centre, Birmingham on Saturday. The crystal globes are individually lit by a set of led lights and each of the 8 wedding cakes were differently flavoured to delight the guests.

 

One of our other stunning and eye catching eggless wedding cakes delivered to the Norfolk Hotel Birmingham, was inspired by our Rose Signature Wedding Cake. The wedding cake had cascading orange and hot pink rose flowers adorned with gold Butterfly-rose-wedding-cakebutterflies and and held centre stage at this 800 guest wedding reception.

 

We have some fantastic newly arrived products in our Cake Decorating Shop, Knowle, Solihull, West Midlands. The new cupcake and butterfly candles have been very popular and the new dinosaur and fairy sugar piping cake decorations are ideal for simply decorating cupcakes and celebration cakes.

The new Cake / palette knife are absolutely brilliant and make cutting and lifting cakes a whole lot more easier. we also have a new range of birthday candles to adorn your perfect celebration cake. Some of the new candle range includes Balloon candles, Cupcake candles, Gold heart candles, Gold And Silver Star candles. We also have a complete colour range of sugar pearls in various sizes ideal to decorate cupcakes, wedding cakes and celebration cakes.

 

We will be exhibiting our new Wedding Cake Collection at The Village Hotel, Solihull on 22nd March 2014 from 11am to 3pm. At the show we will be exhibiting our new wedding cake collection for 2014-2015 and in particularly our new crystal wedding cake designs. We have been hard at work creating the crystal lite stands and our wedding cake designs which will truly adorn our stunning crystal wedding cake stands.

New Crystal Wedding Cake Designs

Glamorous-crystal-wedding-cakeWe had an absolutely fabulous day on Sunday at the Asian international wedding show, Birmingham Motorcycle Museum. With over 2500 brides and grooms attending the show, our new glamorous Crystal Wedding Cakes and new Wedding Cake Designs for 2014 were mostly certainly a huge talking point at the show.

 

The standard of the exhibitors was outstanding and is the reason why the International Asian Wedding Show is one of the countries top wedding events. The catwalk was incredible showing all the latest fashions for this year.

 

Some of our new Glamorous Crystal wedding Cakes and Wedding Cake Designs are now available for everyone to see in our Sugarbliss Cake Decorating Shop, Knowle, Solihull, West Midlands.

 

Just arrived in our cake decorating shop is the new FMM Press icing tools. With a further new 6 designs added to their previous selection, these tools are well worth adding to your cake decorating equipment list!
